Season 2026-27
With rehearsals on Thursday evenings, we have an exciting season planned with several different kinds of performances! Vivace will be singing at the Olney Farmers and Artist Market, Riderwood Senior Living, National City Christian Church in DC, along with various other community performances.
Our 2nd-6th grade singers also have the chance to sing at CarnegieHall in May 2027, a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Vivace (pronounced vee-VAH-chay) means "full of life and energy," and our young singers bring that spark to every rehearsal and performance. Our choral program helps children grow into confident, expressive performers in a joyful, supportive ensemble.
Meet the Founder
Dr. Ingrid Lestrud
Dr. Lestrud brings over 20 years of professional experience in choral education and conducting. As former Principal Associate Conductor of the Grammy Award-winning National Children's Chorus, she has prepared young singers for performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. She holds a Doctor of Music degree from Northwestern University and has served on college faculties across the country.
