Vivace Children's Chorus
The name Vivace Children's Chorus was chosen to reflect our vision to become a vibrant and dynamic part of the community. The word "Vivace" is an Italian musical term that means "full of vitality" and signifies a lively and spirited tempo. We believe that music has the power to bring people together, uplift spirits, and create a sense of unity. By embracing the name Vivace, we convey our commitment to forming an energetic and engaging chorus that not only performs exceptional music, but also actively contributes to the cultural fabric of our community.
Meet the Founder
Dr. Ingrid Lestrud, a highly respected children's music expert with over 20 years of valuable experience, is thrilled to introduce and lead Vivace Children's Chorus in Silver Spring, MD. We warmly welcome children between the ages of 5½ to 10 to join us on this exciting musical journey! Explore the art of vocal training, forge lasting friendships, and immerse yourself in the pure joy of making music together.
